I am searching for a landscape designer to work with us. No work experience necessary, just the technical skills.
- Rhino or equivalent program
- Skills to compile design presentations for client
- Cad skills for drafting plans, planting plans, hardscape plans, construction buildouts
We are a small design & build company. I handle the design and softscape installation and my husband runs the construction of the pools, hardscape - essentially anything outside of the house, we do it.
If you have technical drafting skills which could be used for city permitting, that would be quite a bonus and would pay separately on a per-job basis (permitting pools and retaining walls)
Recently we have been recommended to some very beautiful jobs through the interior design company Pierce and Ward. We are also in the middle of designing several apartment exteriors, with a developer who wants lush & unique grounds (an absolute treat)
And a handfuls of other residential clients with beautiful properties.
I’ve found myself up to my ears in amazing fantasy jobs, I can hardly believe our luck but I simply can’t service them alone. I’m hoping to find someone who loves this type of work as much as I do.
The compensation would be per job, 2k for the smaller projects, 5k + for bigger estates. This could easily blossom into something larger. We are open to other pay structures, happy to discuss.
We have an office in Los Feliz. Considering you’d likely be quite busy with school as well, your preferred work location is up to you.
