Description
Landscape Architect - Paragon Associates
Paragon Associates is seeking a Landscape Architect with strong site planning and land development experience to support a diverse portfolio of projects. This role will play a key part in design, planning, and project coordination, working closely with civil engineers and project teams on commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support site planning and landscape design for land development projects
- Prepare and contribute to comprehensive plan sets, including site layout, grading, and design details
- Collaborate with civil engineering teams on drainage and stormwater management integration
- Assist in navigating the permitting and entitlement process with local agencies
- Serve as a project lead or key contributor, coordinating with clients, consultants, and internal teams
- Contribute to site feasibility studies and conceptual design
- Support projects across a range of asset types, including:
- Commercial and industrial developments
- Hospitality (hotel projects)
- Residential and multi-family (including large-scale apartment developments)
- Infrastructure-related projects (e.g., sewer/water coordination, marina and flood study support)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or related field
- Professional licensure (or progress toward licensure) preferred
- Strong experience in site planning and land development
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or landscape design software
- Working knowledge of grading, drainage, and site design principles
- Familiarity with permitting, zoning, and municipal processes
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
Compensation
- $85K, depending on experience
